Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide when creating or managing an account, including names, email addresses, account preferences, and payment-provider references. For student accounts, we collect study goals, practice responses, and progress data to provide and personalise the learning experience.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe or PayPal. We do not store complete card details on our servers.

When a valid analytics configuration is active, we use Google Analytics automatically on approved public marketing and content pages to understand estimated visitor numbers, how visitors found the site, which public pages are useful, selected content-free interactions, and active engagement time.

Google Analytics may process browser and device information, approximate location, the referring website, a verified public page path, controlled campaign labels, selected content-free interaction details such as CTA location, checkout provider, currency and item count, and a first-party client-ID cookie named _ga. Google states that it uses the visitor's IP address at collection time to derive approximate location and discards the address before analytics data is logged. Because the client ID distinguishes browsers and sessions, we treat this data as pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous. Analytics paths never include query strings or fragments. Advertising storage, advertising user data, Google Signals, advertising signals, and ad personalisation are disabled.

We do not use Google Analytics on student, parent, administrator, impersonation, account, billing/payment, account-recovery, shared signup/onboarding, support or private-feedback, preview, callback/success, token-bearing, or book-reader pages. We do not set a Google Analytics user_id or send names, email addresses, student or account identifiers, school selections, goals, answers, scores, messages, learning evidence, payment credentials or amounts, transaction or customer IDs, or security tokens to Google Analytics.

Analytics is optional. The persistent analytics preferences control below lets you turn collection off or on at any time without affecting the service. Opting out stops further collection and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

We use information to:

• Provide and personalise the Study Agent experience
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send account, service, and billing notifications
• Respond to support enquiries
• Improve public content using aggregate, privacy-limited analytics
• Protect the service from fraud, abuse, and security threats

We do not sell your personal information.

Core iClass account and learning data is stored on our Australian-hosted platform. We use encryption in transit and access controls appropriate to the service.

When public-site analytics is active, Google may process analytics data in Australia or other countries where it or its service providers operate. We will configure user-level and event-level analytics data retention for no longer than 14 months and turn off retention-period reset on new activity. Google's standard aggregated reports may remain available for longer. Stripe and PayPal process payment information under their own privacy terms.

iClass is designed for students under parental or guardian supervision. Student accounts are created or managed through an authorised account flow. Public-site analytics is separated from authenticated learner activity and is never used as mastery, readiness, assessment, or attendance evidence.

You may opt out of public-site analytics at any time. The preference is stored in your browser without your identity. Opting out stops further collection and removes Google Analytics cookies that are accessible to this site; you can re-enable analytics later through the same control.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting admin@iclass.com.au. We will respond in accordance with applicable privacy obligations.

We may update this policy as the service or our legal obligations change. Significant changes will be communicated through an appropriate service notice.
