The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School
The Mac.Robertson Girls' High School is Victoria's only selective entry high school for girls, located on St Kilda Road in Melbourne. It began as the girls' section of the Melbourne Continuation School (established 1905) and opened at its current site — funded in part by confectioner Sir Macpherson Robertson, after whom it is named — on 7 November 1934. It is one of Victoria's four selective entry high schools, admitting students at Year 9 through a statewide entrance examination administered by ACER on behalf of the Department of Education. Its sister school is Melbourne High School.
